Today, you will start in the city as Can Tho Bike Tours, you will cross Can Tho river by ferry to other side river, where is not many traffice. You will cycle along riverside to Cai Rang. You can take a look floating market from the pier and feeling life on water.
Then your cycling is continue along to Ba Lang cannals and pay to get on Ba Lang ferry to other side cannals, this is real countryside, many tropical garden, you can taste season fruits along the way who sale them.
One stopping at Gian Gua, where is famouse and sacret with local live around this place. Gua is name translate by local, Gua is a tree with latin name called Ficus Microcapa. Gua has a large roof cover about 2000 m square, you can make hammock for take a nap under shade. And special with roots branches, just one root stick in the soil so that new tree grow in up and continue for the life. You can see how the tree life and will some legends from local who live here for long as in begining.
Leave Gian Gua, you continue cycling to other ferry on Can Tho River as Rach Sung ferry, the go to visit Organic Cacao Farm. This is a first family make chocolate in Viet Nam in 1960s. You will be hear a story of this family by the men who is called Mr Bean Viet Nam. Mr Bean is as founder of knowledge about chocolate in this town, nobody know about how to make chocolate in 1960s. After understand how to make chocolate and taste and walk around, you will continue cycling to Rice Field.
A little bit far from city Can Tho, but the best place should be see in Can Tho. Rice is famouse in Mekong and Can Tho is the best rice for quality. After along 10km to see rice field and gardens, you can continue to other place to see a family make rice noodle, a kind of noodle in south Viet Nam. Then you leave you bike here and get back to your home by taxi about 7km from city Can Tho center.
